Admission Policy
- Completing the admission application does not guarantee a place at Madrasah Abdur Rahman.
- Applications should be submitted as early as possible, as admissions are processed according to availability and the order in which completed applications are received.
- The minimum age for admission is 4 years, unless otherwise stated for a specific programme.
- Every application must be submitted using the official Admission Form. Verbal requests or informal enquiries cannot be accepted.
- A copy of the child’s birth certificate (or other required identification documents) must accompany every new application.
- Admission is subject to available places and successful completion of the Madrasah’s admission process.
- Successful applicants will receive an official confirmation of admission. Applicants who are unsuccessful will also be notified.
- Applications that are unsuccessful will not automatically be carried forward to the following academic year. A new application must be submitted for future consideration.
- Where applications exceed available places, priority may be given in the following order:
- a. Children of Madrasah staff.
- b. Siblings of current students.
- c. Applicants recommended by the Madrasah management or authorised staff members.
- d. Members of the associated Masjid or community (where applicable).
- e. Applications received on a first-come, first-served basis.
- The Madrasah reserves the right to admit a child under exceptional or compassionate circumstances, even where standard admission criteria may not be fully met.
- Parents must disclose any relevant educational, behavioural, medical, or special circumstances before admission. Failure to provide accurate information may affect the admission decision.
- The Madrasah may request a reference or records from a student’s previous Madrasah or educational institution at any stage of the admission process.
- Mid-year admissions are considered only where places are available and are entirely at the discretion of the Madrasah administration.
- Parents wishing to withdraw a student should provide written notice to the Madrasah office. Any outstanding fees must be settled in accordance with the Madrasah’s fee policy.
- Admission is granted subject to the Madrasah’s rules, regulations, and policies. The Madrasah reserves the right to amend these policies whenever necessary.
- Parents are responsible for ensuring they are familiar with the latest admission policies and any updates issued by the Madrasah.
- All admission enquiries should be made through the Madrasah administration before the published admission deadlines.
